ProfileKit lets a Shopify merchant add extra profile questions to their store's customer accounts. Customers answer them in their account.
ProfileKit uses only the answers to the questions the merchant sets up, and customer IDs to link answers to customers. It does not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses.
All answers are saved in the merchant's own Shopify store, on the customer record. ProfileKit has no database and does not copy, sell or share this data.
Answers are deleted when the merchant deletes the customer or the answer in Shopify. Uninstalling ProfileKit stops it from reading or writing any data. Because ProfileKit stores nothing itself, there is nothing further to delete when Shopify sends a data deletion request.
